New Bedford, Massachusetts's The Diggers have released their self-titled debut album on 75orLess Records. From 16 plus minute epics to groove laden jams to I just can't contain myself rockandrolla, The Diggers have something to prove with their left field way of thinking. Recorded by themselves in the depths of the Wamsutta Mill, The Diggers are finally taking their (mostly) instrumental madness to the masses. Influences include Led Zeppelin, An Albatross, Neil Young, Pink Floyd. The ten track release is limited to 150 silkscreened copies, while the label is limited to 25 copies for sale through the website. You can download the track Chinese Checkers and purchase a copy over at the label website.
